Question:Is the pack waterproof or water resitant? For a sit on top kayak or light rain on a hike?
Answer:This bag is nice for day hiking lightweight and comfortable but this bag is NOT water resistant. Light rain seeped into the bag. I also tried to use it as a kayaking bag everything inside the bag was wet. It's still a nice bag I put everything in plastic zipbags inside.

Answer:It comes folded in its pouch which is only about 4"x 6" therefore shipping in a very small package. Loved it as packed it in suitcase until needed on a 10 day trip.
